of the crash on the 15- hundred block of franklin street. according to san francisco police the suspect crashed into a vacant building when making a possible illegal turn. a building inspector says the car went 15-feet into the building. no injuries have been reported. we're following a developing story out of san leandro. a body was found inside a trailer that caught fire early this morning. here's video of the scene. the flames broke out at the estudillo trailer park on grand avenue around 3-30. the fire was knocked down in about 10 minutes. the mobile home was destroyed. the cause of the fire is under investigation. and >>darya:police are still searching for the hit & run driver. who was involved in a crash that killed two women on monday in san jose.

580 ride back up into livermore. for the second day in the route is to backing up around a corner. this out 680 pleasanton traffic which had been a hot spot earlier this morning after problems were cleared. the south bay is not immune from all this heavy traffic. 101 north bound over 32 minutes to drive time from 85 to the montague expressway and this is a really slow commute out of downtown san jose. heading out toward cupertino. a 28 minute drive time from here to here. that should take about 11 to 12 to minutes even during normal commute traffic as we look first to the bay bridge commute. westbound starting to back up to the macarthur maze and the 880 approach backing up as well. is starting to get

found hanging inside his cell at an ohio, a correctional facility. they performed cpr and rush into a local hospital but he was pronounced dead at 3 that castro was sentenced for life in prison plus 1000 years after pleading guilty to 937 counts of kidnapping and rape. his cousin spoke out wondering if his death was a suicide. >>: one of my initial thought was did he really do this to himself or could he have possibly have someone else got to him. obviously it is a jail. there's a lot of criminals beyond those bars. and some of those criminals and some of the horrible things that may have done obviously were probably not as bad as some of the things he did and the people always have an eye out for someone that has done something horrible as these things that he's done it so i really have to wonder but he now i guess it

they went inside the trailer they discovered a second body buried. here is the scene earlier as fire crews arrived just after 3:30 a.m. to find this trailer on fire. this trailer was cluttered and it made it hard for them to fight the fire. a neighbor stated that an elderly woman and her husband lived here. they stated that they heard her screaming and they ran over and began breaking out windows and fire crews stated that oxygen entered a trailer and made worse. >> there that comes through the doors, may burst into flames. the windows, 6 thi i really do not know what the right procedure is if we should open a window or not. i really do not know. i know that she was helpless, she

could not get out. >> there were doing everything that they could, the most important thing is for you to call 911. >> fire crews stated that she should call 911 end the bin ave emergency. neighbors stated that it took them about 20 minutes to get here. the firefighters stated that there ride for minutes after they receive the call. a lot of residents as soon as someone else had already called 911, that was not the case. the cause of the fire is still under investigation. >> the ohio man who held three woman captive in his home for nearly a decade has committed suicide. ariel castro was found hanging in his cell at the correctional reception center in orient last night. prison medical staff performed c-p-r before castro was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. castro was sentenced august 1st to life in prison plus 1,000 years on his guilty plea to 937 counts including kidnapping and rape.

here is what castro's cousin had to say when she learned >> i am talking about the victims, i was wondering have they heard, or if someone notified them of what happened. they may not know that this has happened, this has transpired. i immediately thought of them and what was onto their minds. as a mom, i was thinking about what nancy would be thinking right now, my thoughts went to the memory of the person that i used to know or i thought i used to know. or it just think about his mother, obviously, this is still a son, she had visited him in

the jail. >> the three women he held captive disappeared separately between 2002 and 2004, when they were 14, 16 and 20 years old. they escaped may 6, when one of the women broke part of a door and yelled to neighbors for help. castro was arrested that evening. >> new this morning. authorities are on the scene of a reported stabbing at spring high school this morning. the incident happened at the high school on cypresswood at north freeway. multiple people were stabbed and life flight has transported at least one student to the hospital. the school is on lockdown and parents are being advised to stay away from the school right now. two people were in handcuffs, but it's not clear at this point if they were suspects in the stabbing.

9:15 a.m.. >> when we talk about hot spots we're talking about situations where conditions are worse than usual. whether is a major incidents were slow traffic. we may be looking at the new normal. we are seeing a big return to traffic after the holiday weekend. this is worse than last year. look at the east shore freeway the ride on 880 westbound. it is still backed up from richmond parkway. 680 is still very heavily into the san ramon valley even west 24 is still behind schedule. northbound 880 still remains backed up. eastbound 580 is also heavy after dublin. the westbound ride has cleared though it was not clear to alta mott past. south bay freeway, one

on one ride is still behind schedule at nearly 40 minutes. things are running down on 280, and 85. the mid peninsula was jammed up from millbrae all the way to palo alto. now there are some breaks. the north bay ride is still slow and what we're used to see in 9 minutes. >> we heard from kron 4 will tran at the bay bridge and you can see that even though traffic is still backed up, here at the toll plaza is actually not that bad. the slow traffic that we have been seen on 80 is not back off from the bridge but a back up to the bridge. the golden gate bridge ride them volume is up but the speed is as well. we are not looking at any problems across the span. it is a
